We were introduced to the Board at Horizon Platforms through a Finance Director we had recently placed who was close to the business.

We were introduced to the Head of People, Lucy Normanton and the Chief Executive, Ben Hirst. Thankfully, we had been able to meet in person before lockdown, following which, much of the process took place through TEAMS.

The Finance Director role was a superb opportunity for an ambitious finance leader. It also came at a great time for Horizon - the Board had set some ambitious plans for growth pre-Covid-19 and having performed well during this time, they were looking to recruit a high-calibre candidate to lead the financial strategy of the business.
