Overview of the  Requirement  

The CFO needed an experienced head of tax to take full responsibility for all group related tax matters on a global basis. This was a brand-new role for the organisation and one which was needed to allow the business to achieve an optimum tax structure for current and growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate would be Big 4 trained with in-house international experience within a manufacturing business.

  • Salary benchmarking through collecting data on the compensation for similar jobs in other organisations to establish a competitive ‘market rate’ for salary and benefits
  • Advertising across our website, LinkedIn and other relevant media
  • Networking and headhunting for the most relevant tax professionals within the market
  • Referrals from within our network of professional advisors
  • Designed a specific set of questions for the candidates, the answers to which were used to evaluate the candidates in line with the requirements for the role
  • Used the above to prepare a thorough report on each candidate for the client.
