Amanda O'Neill
From March 2021 to January 2024, Amanda worked within our Senior Finance Executive team, responsible for permanent qualified recruitment across the West and North Yorkshire area . Following a re-structure in January 2024, Amanda has moved into a newly created role of “People Partner”.
As our People Partner, Amanda has a strong focus on learning and development of the team and ensuring a positive culture within the business. Amanda maintains customer focus across our business and is a Key Account Manager overseeing our major Preferred Supplier Agreement clients.
- Over 20 years’ Senior finance recruitment experience across Yorkshire.
- Amanda’s career prior to Pratap Partnership involved Previous experience working within an International PLC, ultimately as Business Director of Senior Finance, Yorkshire.
- Having worked with all of the Partners at Pratap Partnership for a large percentage of her career, the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team once again was an easy decision to make.
- On the Board of Directors for the Business Beats Cancer Yorkshire charity - bringing together the business community of Yorkshire to a selection of events, raising funds for life-saving cancer research carried out by Cancer Research UK.

Amanda lives in the countryside of Emley Moor with her husband, daughter and chocolate Labrador. She loves socialising with friends and family whenever possible.
Fitness and Health
A regular gym goer, cyclist, swimmer, jogger, dog walker and general fitness lover, Amanda has taken part in many competitive sporting events over the past few years including the Windermere Open Water Swim, the Scissett Triathlon, the Great North Run and the Yorkshire Warrior. With an avid interest in optimising health naturally Amanda is also a qualified hypnotherapist and student of Naturopathic Medicine.
Charity
Amanda is a Board Member of the business Beats Cancer Yorkshire Charity. The charity aims to increase awareness across the region’s business community of Cancer Research UK’s work and to encourage business leaders to work together to support the charity through a range of fundraising activities. Over the past ten years, Amanda has raised over £50,000 for various charities including the Breast Cancer Haven, Cancer Research UK, Coppafeel! and Candle Lighters, taking part in many sporting and social events to raise vital funds and awareness of these charities. As a result of her fundraising, Amanda was asked to appear in the Channel 4 documentary series, “Going Back, Giving Back” hosted by Alled Jones and a full episode was dedicated to her personal story and reasons why she chose to “give back”.
Ocean/Island Life
Amanda was born and spent her childhood growing up in the Bahamas and has always loved the ocean. Any opportunity to swim in the sea and she’ll dive straight in. A lover of marine life and an Island girl at heart. When not in England you’ll find her in the turquoise seas of the Bahamas or the Balearic Islands.
