Sustainability

Our Growth
Journey

A high-performing, strong and capable team with a shared purpose.

We are an ambitious, young business that has grown above our expectations in our journey to date.

Working together for a better future

We will never solely be focussed on our results and our profits. We recognise that every business has a responsibility to create a positive impact on the environment, the community and the sector in which they operate.

Working with a number of great companies with strong ESG strategies, we have every opportunity to lead the way in our sector for making the deepest impact for the current and future generations (and with our minds sharpened by the 22 children in our collective family)!

We are committed to making a difference and embodying the purpose-led organisation mentality across all areas of our business

Since early 2022, we have been looking at our current practices and have shaped Our Purpose by speaking to our own staff, a large section of our clients and candidate, and from our ongoing research.

Our People

Our positive impact is represented by many small changes and setting an example for others to follow

Environment

  • Our office is centrally located to all our staff and only used when required, thus reducing carbon emissions
  • Strong environmental policies that are always improving
  • Recycling in our offices
  • We prioritise local suppliers where we can - promoting our local community and reducing transport pollution

Social

  • Volunteering with local schools in a careers-led learning programme
  • Supporting and utilising local suppliers wherever possible
  • Working with local universities and institutes to advise students on their careers
  • Promoting the local economy by our Refer A Friend gifts being from local businesses
  • Working closely with our Charity Partners – Business Beats Cancer Yorkshire and Martin’s Mountain

Governance

  • Our board meetings are attended by commercial, operations and finance
  • Our Non-Executive Chair has been with us from day one
  • Professional membership of the REC
  • We aim to pay all of our suppliers to 7 days
  • We are advised by reputable local advisers for finance, IT and legal matters
  • All of our technical suppliers are accredited by the REC

We are at the early stages of our ESG journey, and we are developing every day.

We learn from our clients and will continue to share our plans as they evolve. Our quarterly blog will share the best ideas we have seen and implemented ourselves.
