Lorraine Pratap
A founding member of Pratap Partnership, Lorraine is responsible for the financial and legal aspects of running the business and sits on the Board alongside Nik.
Her background of working within accounts, followed by an enviable career in recruitment, means that she has a deep understanding of the financial recruitment sector and is perfectly placed to both support and help to successfully drive the business forward.
- Over 17 years’ experience working in recruitment for Hays Plc, 12 of which were spent as a Senior Manager leading the Yorkshire Public Practice team of 5 and sitting on the UK steering group for Public Practice recruitment nationally. MREC qualified.
- Lorraine spent 5 years working within the training division of Hays Yorkshire ultimately holding the responsibility of the training for all of Hays plc staff in the North of England and Scotland.
- An experienced accountant, with a background of working for a large manufacturing business in Northern Ireland.

Family
Lorraine lives in Bawtry with her husband Nik, three children, and her dog, Paisley.

Walking
As a keen walker, Lorraine has climbed all the tallest peaks within the UK including; Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, Snowdon in Wales and Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland. Two goals remain; to climb the National Three Peaks in 24 hours and to complete the Camino De Santiago trek through France and Spain.

Charity
Lorraine has a real passion for helping the young vulnerable community and has previously volunteered at drop in cafes for 16-25 year old youths and has worked in supported housing for the homeless. Lorraine is committed to continue to give her time and support to this group of wonderful young people.
Lorraine is a founding partner of Pratap Partnership and brings a wealth of experience to the business gained through working within both accounts and senior level financial recruitment.
She started her career as an accountant for a large manufacturing business in Northern Ireland and after moving to Yorkshire, embarked on a job search for a similar role. Upon registering with a large international recruitment group, they instantly spotted her natural talent for recruitment and offered her a role as a trainee consultant. She quickly progressed through the ranks and spent several years at a senior level, recruiting for Professional Practice across Yorkshire.
