Nik has a long history of working across the private sector, adviser and investor community across the region and beyond and as a result of this, has created a large network within the financial sector.

A running fanatic who is now happily on the downhill slope of his physical ambitions after completing two marathons.

Nik has been working in financial recruitment since 1999, undertaking various roles throughout his career including National Director for Senior Finance for an international Plc and Equity Partner for a privately invested recruitment company, leading the specialist finance team.
He has managed and developed the relationships with key clients and partners across the different roles he has undertaken.
PwC trained and a graduate in Theology from Durham University
It was PwC that instilled an enthusiasm in Nik for the financial sector and gave a solid foundation upon which to build a great network. For him, it was a logical progression to move on to Hays where he received some of the best training in recruitment and the opportunity to work with some outstanding individuals.
He started out recruiting part qualified accountants in the North West before moving to Yorkshire where his career took him to a level where he headed up the Senior Finance division for the UK and Ireland. Recognising that career progression within a corporate would ultimately lead to a move away from hands on recruitment, a part of the job that he loved, Nik decided to move on to a privately invested, local recruitment business in order to grow it and head up the accountancy division.
Nik founded Pratap Partnership in April 2019, referencing this as the proudest achievement of his career.
He has worked with over 200 consultants in his career and has assembled a team of the very best – top performers who share the same values, standards and love of the recruitment industry.
