We were all delighted to receive the news that our Managing Partner has been appointed onto the Remuneration and Appointments Committee of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation. He will serve a three-year term and his appointment come after a successful application process over the past few weeks. For over 100 years, the REC has led and represented the recruitment industry. They play a key role in driving standards in the industry, influence government policy on the jobs market and support their members in everything from compliance and legal support to the very latest evolutions in recruitment technology. The Remuneration and Appointments Committee oversees appointments, performance and remuneration policy in relation to the Board, non-executives and staff of the REC; it makes recommendations to the Board on all of these mattersAll of our partners have been members of REC for many years and Pratap Partnership became a corporate member in the first week of our incorporation. We received all of the support that we needed to start up our business and the guidance provided during the pandemic has been invaluable to us.“I am very proud to be appointed to this committee and to have the opportunity to work more closely with Sarah Thewlis, Andrew Harvey and Neil Carberry. Supporting the working group to appoint the NED board earlier in the year was a very rewarding experience. There were huge positives for me in working with some of the leading voices in the recruitment industry. This appointment will allow me to give my time and experience back to REC and ensure that Pratap Partnership will benefit from being close to the national recruitment agenda” - Nik“We couldn’t be prouder of our Managing Partner and this appointment is a huge accolade for us as a business but more importantly a representation of the hard work, dedication and passion Nik has for the recruitment industry. He leads by example and was truly honoured to have been selected in this process. Nik in his usual modest way, told us all of his appointment in a very understated manner but we recognise what a huge achievement it is for him and he has our full support as a business. We know he will be a huge asset and do a brilliant job – Gillian McBride
