Facts about Lorraine
Lorraine is a founding partner of Pratap Partnership and brings a wealth of experience to the business gained through working within both accounts and senior level financial recruitment.
She started her career as an accountant for a large manufacturing business in Northern Ireland and after moving to Yorkshire, embarked on a job search for a similar role. Upon registering with a large international recruitment group, they instantly spotted her natural talent for recruitment and offered her a role as a trainee consultant. She quickly progressed through the ranks and spent several years at a senior level, recruiting for Professional Practice across Yorkshire.
On the birth of her second child, she decided she needed a job that would fit around her home life better and so moved into the training side of the business.
This ultimately led to her leading the training division for the North of England and working at a more strategic level in the turnaround of underperforming offices.
On the birth of her third and final child, Lorraine decided to take a career break, but true to form, still found plenty to keep her busy. She project managed a house build as well as the renovation of several cottages. She then followed her passion for helping vulnerable young adults, taking on a role in a Further Education College assisting them to find work placements.
