We have recently posted our 50th CFO Network interview since we started this initiative a little over two years’ ago. First and foremost, a huge thank you to every VIP who has spent time with us to share their stories and their insights. Secondly, we have reflected on every interview together and have shared some of the most interesting facts and features below:

  • 26 Men and 24 Women have been interviewed across 24 different market sectors
  • 10 interviewees have received industry awards over recent years (Insider Dealmakers, YFL Awards or Northern FD Awards)
  • 24 interviewees have been promoted or moved jobs in the past two years.
  • We have placed 10 interviewees into their current roles and 18 at some point in their career.
  • We know of at least 8 other direct connections made by sharing these articles (2 interviewees have been approached to be coaches, 2 advisers have been appointed, 1 interim engaged and 3 social reconnections!) We are sure that the total number is considerably higher!
  • We have placed people into new jobs with 32 of the interviewees – using their CFO Network interviews to help with the candidate attraction strategy.
  • 12 of our 20 most viewed articles over the past year have been within our CFO Network interviews. Our LinkedIn impressions range from 4,000 to 14,000 per interview and have 84% click through rates which is great coverage for both the VIP and for our business.

We have learned so much from everyone that we have spoken with and sharing some of the lessons has created considerable value across our whole network.

Here are a few examples:

“The interview you did with me helped me on my first steps into interim work.  It not only helped me grow my network, but also provided an insight to the reader of the person behind the ‘CV’.  Within a few days I was approached by a new contact and was given my first interim work, I am still in that role supporting the business with several projects.”

Kate Noble, currently Senior Finance Project Manager at Cura Terrae

"It was a pleasure to be asked to be involved by Gillian, the Pratap Partnership CFO interview created great exposure for myself and for Anticus Partners"

Will Evans, Investment Manager at Anticus Partners

We look forward to continuing to share some more valuable insights and fantastic stories from the Yorkshire and East Midlands region over the next few weeks - including Emma Davies, Partner at Grant Thornton, tomorrow.
