We hosted our first Talent Leaders Round Table Lunch last week, bringing together 15 Heads of Talent and HR Directors from across Yorkshire and the East Midlands at Restaurant Bar & Grill in Leeds.

The sun was glorious, so we took the opportunity to start off with some networking and chat in the outdoor area before moving to our private dining room for lunch and our discussion.

We were delighted to welcome Kate Shoesmith – Deputy CEO of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation to lead discussions over lunch. There was so much for everyone to contribute to and learn from Kate and from the other delegates. Some of the topics that were covered:

• National trends on job and candidate activity
• Continually evolving your EVP
• ED&I
• Temporary and Interim Market
• Part-time workers

Our guestlist represented Talent Leaders from private equity investors, accountancy firms, plcs and international businesses – a diverse range of organisations and personalities, sharing some challenges that were consistent to all.
